client's profitability, PTI optimized the design,
reduced the overall cost, and decreased the required
manufacturing time.

PTI completely redesigned the structural components
using 3D modeling, structural analysis and process
simulation. PTI also certified the new design
with complete laboratory testing.

Along with reducing the overall weight of the suspension
system by 27%, PTI reduced the manufacturing cost
by 25%. Fatigue life and appearance of the system
were also improved. Tooling and prototypes for the
system were ready in half the time of previously
client-driven product development projects. |
