The brake system on an airport people mover had failed. The original equipment supplier could not provide the necessary replacement parts for nine months, while the client had to return the people mover to service in less than eight weeks.

PTI reverse engineered the failed units, conducted a failure analysis and upgraded the material. PTI replaced the failed components with fully machined, assembled and tested units to the client.
